Taya began her journey in vet med in high school where she volunteered at a local clinic assisting staff in their closing tasks. 

Earlier this year Taya did an internship at an Exotic animal hospital she then graduated as a veterinary technician at the University of Guelph Ridgetown campus.  She is currently preparing to take the VTNE by the end of 2025 to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

In her spare time Taya enjoys walking her dog, reading and spending time with friends and family.
